Terms of Use.

Effective 19 July 2026 · applies to carpriceindex.com

1 · Who we are and what this is

carpriceindex.com ("the site") is operated by drivenerve, an independent EU-based studio ("we"); operator details are available on request at hello@drivenerve.com. The site is a free, informational market index for enthusiast cars: editorial price estimates, trends, comparisons, editorial commentary and a deal-checking calculator. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, don't use the site.

2 · What the numbers are, and are not

Every figure on this site is an editorial estimate or observation of asking prices, produced as described on the methodology page, labelled with a status and an as-of date. The figures are:

  • not a valuation or appraisal of any specific vehicle;
  • not financial, investment, insurance, tax or purchase advice;
  • not a promise that any car can be bought or sold at any price shown.

Real transactions depend on condition, history, specification, location and timing, which no index can capture. Always inspect a vehicle, verify its documented history and form your own judgement (or hire a professional) before buying, selling or valuing anything. You use the deal checker and all other outputs at your own risk.

3 · Accuracy and availability

We work to keep the data honest, labelled and current, and we correct errors when we find them or when you report them to hello@drivenerve.com. Nevertheless the site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability, to the extent permitted by law. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time.

4 · Acceptable use

  • Personal, non-commercial reference use is welcome, including sharing links and deal reports.
  • You may not scrape, bulk-download or republish the dataset or substantial parts of the site commercially without written permission.
  • You may not misrepresent the site's estimates as certified valuations, use the site in any unlawful way, or attempt to disrupt its operation.
  • Quoting small excerpts with attribution and a link is fine.

5 · Intellectual property

The site's design, brand marks, editorial text and the compiled dataset are protected by copyright and related rights and belong to the operator. Vehicle manufacturer names, model names and trademarks belong to their respective owners; they are used solely to identify the vehicles discussed, and no affiliation with or endorsement by any manufacturer is claimed or implied.

6 · Third-party links and future affiliate disclosure

The site links to independent third-party services (marketplaces, vehicle-history providers, auction platforms, and drivenerve.com). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, pricing or conduct. Some outbound links may in future become affiliate links that earn us a commission at no cost to you; where that happens it will be disclosed on the page, and it never influences prices, ratings or rankings on this site.

7 · Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses arising from decisions made in reliance on the site's estimates and content. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer in the EU/EEA, UK, Australia (Australian Consumer Law), New Zealand (Consumer Guarantees Act) or elsewhere. Since the site is free and informational, your exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using it.

8 · Privacy

How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy. Summary: no accounts, no cookies, no trackers, and your settings stay in your browser.

9 · Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the operator's country of establishment in the European Union, and disputes are subject to the courts there — except that if you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection rules and courts of your country of residence. EU/EEA consumers can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform ↗.

10 · Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the effective date above changes when we do, and continued use after a change means acceptance. Questions, corrections and permission requests: hello@drivenerve.com.
